This class is for anyone who has never done yoga, is new to yoga, or just wants a slower paced class to work on form. We move slowly, with intention, and let our breath guide our movements.
Forest yoga will be held along wooded nature trails where we will awaken our senses to the world around us, find stillness with our bodies and minds while connecting on a deeper level to the world that supports us.
Children love yoga and can benefit from the stillness, relaxation and breathing techniques incorporated throughout. Focusing on emotional regulation, flexibility and having fun, this type of class will be engaging for children and adults! Children must be accompanied by adult for all classes.
Be on the lookout for these pop up classes where we dress up, listen to certain genres of music and laugh during our yoga practice! Have a special event or function that you want a Themed Yoga Instructor? I am it! 80's, 90's, Madonna theme, Flourescent Outfits, Animals...message me with ideas and let's see if we can make it work!
Functional movements are movements we do daily using our bodies. From grocery shopping, to picking up children, to getting down onto the floor...and back up again! This class will incorporate light weights, resistance bands and yoga to increase overall mobility in our aging bodies.
